So, I am not quite sure how and where exactly to start all this. I guess I'm just gonna begin with introducing myself to whoever you are.
My name is Raha, which briefly translates to "peaceful" or "quiet" in my mothertongue that is "Tigre". I am pretty sure that you have never heard of this language, but don't worry you are not the only one. Tigre is one of Eritrea's nine native languages and Eritrea is the country that my wonderful parents are from. Maybe you know that small country in the horn of Africa, that borders Ethiopia, Sudan and Djibouti. But, from experience I know that a lot of people still have no idea what and where Eritrea is, so here is a map:
I am a 19 year old girl living in the beautiful Berlin (the one in Germany). I was born and raised here and have never lived anywhere else. I am actually not that much of an interesting person. I don't have an outstanding, extraordinary hobby or talent, neither am I popular on social media, but I do have one thing. A good sense of style. And maybe even some skills in writing. Well, at least I like to believe that. Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved fashion. It used to be my dream to become a fashion designer. I loved drawing, painting and I thought Germany's next topmodel was the coolest show on the planet. However, now that I've grown a bit, things and plans have changed. Don't get me wrong, I still love fashion with all my heart. But I just realized that I am not the designing kind of person, I am more of the writing and talking type. That's the reason why I decided to start this blog. In the future I'll post fashion and lifestyle related content, but I also want to share as much as I can about my personal life, so this site could also function as a public little diary where I can share my thoughts and opinions with you. Every voice deserves to be heard, right?
